Alone in the Marquee – our new album due out September

Ok, so we recently recorded our album “Alone in the Marquee”! All the base tracks are recorded live off the floor. It took us 7 days to setup record and tear down, just me and Andrew. with a little advice from our good friend Andrew Watt.  but we really captured the sound of that building!  it was creepy at times, but it was magic.  there are so many great memories at the Marquee club… so many amazing people have been on that stage… James Brown, is the largest name I can think of. countless amazing shows have happened at this venue. It’s entirely possible that we will have been the last band to have powered up and rocked out that stage.

Here is sneak peek of the song Hometown Hero.  It’s not done yet! We want to add a choir of people and some more layers before we call it done.

OK!  Finally …. Some music for your listening pleasure.

Here is a behind the scenes look at one of our rehearsals. hope you enjoy it..

No Music Yet…. But More ART!

Ok, so your all dying to hear what we sound like…… well you’ll just have to keep waiting..

Because I’ve finished another painting……..

After the Long Grey Road is a series of Steady Hills….  and here’s what they look like.  This Painting was inspired by a conversation me and Andrew had a few months ago…. he explained his vision of the Steady Hills…. and I went to work Painting it…

Power In Numbers

Chad Created this graphic a few days ago! inspired by the social and economic change that is happening across the world.   He then Submitted it to Threadless a T-shirt company.  Go vote to help make this a published t-shirt!   very democratic ;)

Um… We Have a Video Game!

Ok…… So in order to procrastinate working on my resume.. I created our first band video game!

Fly Chad and Andrew’s spaceship through a world modeled after there band crest. Battling evil forces of corporate agenda collecting all the golden nuggets they’ve been hording away from the people…..  A regular Rocket Robin Hood if you will!

Coat of Arms

Who knew we’d have a video game before we even had a song up on the internet…LOL.   Don’t worry, we are actively working on getting some recorded material up for you, including some video shots..

We had 3 band practices this week and setup Andrew’s studio with 7 channels of microphones ready to record next week. the plan is to record a quick 3 song demo to give to fans at shows, and to get us out of town gig’s. We may even extend this idea to 3 song demo and add 2 more songs acoustic!! wait and see….

SO in the mean time…. enjoy this rockin game I whipped up tonight..Coat of Arms

Some Live Video shots sooon!

OK! were going working on getting you some videos footage of us in the next few week. You know something half decent….with a HD camcorder. And maybe even some live multitracking goodness of our rehearsal studio.

a mini DIY music video if you will…

For now, here’s a video of something completely different then what we sound like!

Andrew playing his Djembe on the waterfront yesterday….. shot with my crappy phone :)

Huh?  oh….we’re a band and you want to hear our music?!….. Right…. well for now you’ll have to come to a show, because we’re not recording until after we tour some of this music for you….. you know, see what songs you like…..or don’t like…. you wouldn’t want to pay for our album and hear a bunch of stuff we didn’t work all the kinks out of would you?………don’t answer that  ;)

so keep your ears peeled for Steady Hills shows….

or you can creep us on facebook ….
